Fort Lauderdale, FL (July 26, 2018) – Antibiotic Adjuvant joined 3 other Florida startups as part of the Startup Competition Pitch Contest during SUP-X, the startup expo.
The startups were judged by Dean Hatton from Las Olas VC, Nelly Farra from NMFarra + Co., Marcia Dawood from Mindshift Capital, Tom Wallace from Florida Funders, and Michael Laskey from FAN Fund. The winner of the competition received $25,000 in cash and prizes.
“SUP-X has been a great way to connect with local angels and investors. Some investors have already expressed interest in having deeper conversations about our technology and how we are using it to lower the abuse and misuse of antibiotics in nursing homes” says David Flores, CEO of Antibiotic Adjuvant. “We are very excited about being part of the top 4 four finalists during this event” added Flores.
SUP-X was presented by the South Florida Technology Alliance and received over 1,000 attendees including startups, angel and VC investors, service providers, accelerators, entrepreneur support organizations and others from two dozen states and half a dozen countries.
